How to Add Video to a Zillow Listing (2026 Guide)
Learn how to add video to a Zillow listing in 2026, including Showcase uploads through Aryeo, MLS tour links, video requirements, and troubleshooting.

To add video to a Zillow Showcase listing, have your listing photographer upload the video through Aryeo, then select it in the Showcase editor and enable it for the carousel. A standard listing needs a different approach: first check which tour links your MLS sends to Zillow.
This guide was checked against Zillow's official help pages on September 12, 2026. It covers the documented publishing routes and practical checks you can use before sending the live listing to a seller.
Can you add a video to Zillow in 2026?
Yes, for Showcase: Zillow introduced its carousel video feature in late September 2025. That does not establish a universal video-upload option for every listing. Older instructions for recording a walkthrough inside the Zillow app should not be treated as the current Showcase workflow.
- Showcase listing: follow the photographer upload and carousel-selection steps below.
- Standard MLS listing: confirm the supported media field and destination with your MLS.
- Interactive walkthrough: consider the separate Zillow 3D Home workflow.
- Agent introduction: use the Spotlight Video option on your Zillow profile.
How to add video to a Zillow Showcase listing
1. Have your photographer upload the video
Ask the photographer who supplied the listing's Showcase media to upload the eligible video through Aryeo. Confirm the property address with them before proceeding.
2. Open the listing editor
Sign in to your Showcase workspace, open the property, and choose Editor. Open Edit carousel media, then switch to Videos.
3. Select and save the video
Choose the uploaded clip, turn on Show video in carousel, and select Save. Only one video can be displayed at a time.
4. Finish the listing and check the live result
Zillow recommends completing Showcase edits before activating the MLS listing. Download the listing media, add it to the MLS, and place the unbranded Interactive Floor Plan URL in the MLS tour field as directed by the Showcase guide. Check the listing's ready status before going live.
The selected video appears second in the Showcase carousel and begins playing without sound. Open the published page on a phone and a computer, test playback, and check that the displayed address and video match. Treat this live review as the completion step.
Zillow Showcase video requirements
Give your photographer these requirements before the shoot. Zillow's media-delivery instructions specify:
- A runtime of no more than two minutes; horizontal and vertical videos are both accepted.
- Capture, upload, and delivery by the photographer creating the property's Showcase media.
- A file uploaded through Aryeo, rather than a hosted-video link or embed.
- Property-focused content, clear visuals, and smooth transitions.
- No brand watermarks, brokerage advertising, or recruiting messages. An agent and brokerage introduction is allowed; additional branding is not.
- Appropriate rights for music and imagery. Narration is optional.
Before exporting, have the provider confirm the file settings accepted by their current uploader. Avoid relying on an old tutorial's file-size limit or assuming that horizontal video is the only permitted orientation.
How to handle video on a standard Zillow listing
For third-party home tours, Zillow documents an MLS route: add the tour to the MLS Virtual Tour field, and the link appears under Facts and Features. Certain supported 3D tour providers can receive more prominent placement. That documentation does not guarantee an ordinary hosted video will play inside the photo carousel.
If you have a conventional property video, use this verification process with your listing coordinator or MLS support team:
- Ask which field accepts a hosted property-video page, which hosts are supported, and whether that field is sent to Zillow.
- Confirm the MLS's branding requirements before choosing the destination page.
- Open the proposed link while signed out. Check that a buyer can watch without requesting access.
- Save the link in the confirmed field, then inspect the public Zillow listing after the feed updates.
- If it is missing, send support the listing URL, field name, submitted link, and time of the change.
What about FSBO listings, rentals, and 3D Home tours?
For a for-sale-by-owner or rental listing, check the media options for that specific account and listing type. Do not assume a Showcase workspace or the same controls will be available. Zillow 3D Home is a documented alternative for sellers and property managers who want an interactive view of the home.
A Zillow 3D Home tour is assembled from panoramas captured with its app using a supported phone or camera. Create the tour, review it in the 3D Home dashboard, and associate it with the correct listing. Zillow says there are no per-home or hosting charges for these tours, and rentals are supported. Equipment or photographer services may still cost money.
Choose the experience that matches the buyer's task. A short video can introduce the property's strongest features; an interactive tour lets someone investigate the layout at their own pace. A conventional video export cannot simply be uploaded as a Zillow 3D Home tour.
Why is my Zillow listing video not showing?
- No video controls: confirm that you are editing the intended listing in the correct product and account.
- Empty Showcase video library: ask your photographer to check delivery to the correct property.
- Uploaded but absent from the carousel: return to the editor and check the display toggle and saved selection.
- MLS link missing: verify the field and syndication support with your MLS; test the destination page separately.
- Wrong or old footage: compare the property address and final filename with the provider's delivery record.
- Failure after a listing update: record the public URL, screenshots, and the last successful state before contacting support.
Zillow notes that edits made after a Showcase listing goes live may not sync correctly. If the saved changes still do not appear, contact Showcase support. Avoid repeatedly uploading the same file without identifying whether the issue is delivery, selection, or publication.
Plan a property video that is useful beyond Zillow
Start with a simple creative brief: who is viewing the video, which property details they need, and where the finished clip will be published. Our suggested 60-to-90-second structure is a production starting point, not an additional Zillow requirement:
- Opening: show the exterior or defining living space so the viewer immediately recognizes the property.
- Main sequence: move through the living area, kitchen, bedrooms, and outdoor space in a logical order.
- Details: hold on two or three features that deserve a closer look, using only verified descriptions.
- Finish: end on a useful property view. Prepare any social-media contact card as a separate version for that channel.
Reeloft can help turn approved listing photos or a supported listing URL into an editable marketing video. Review the scene order, motion, captions, and audio, then export the version your destination needs. Watch every generated scene for changed room proportions, invented details, or misleading views before sharing it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add a YouTube video to my Zillow listing?
Showcase uses the provider's uploaded file. For a standard listing, ask your MLS whether it accepts and syndicates your proposed video link. A YouTube link alone does not guarantee listing placement.
How do I add a video to my Zillow agent profile?
Zillow documents a separate Spotlight Video feature for profiles. Open your profile editing options, go to the social-media and links section, paste your video's YouTube share URL into Spotlight Video, and save. This adds a profile video; it does not attach the clip to an individual property.
Does it cost extra to add a Showcase video?
Zillow's Showcase guide says its video feature is included at no additional charge. That does not make the Showcase product or photographer's production services free. Confirm those costs separately before booking.
